Venezuela Earthquake Relief

Epicenter corridor

The recent earthquakes in Venezuela have left thousands of families without food, shelter, and basic necessities. While much of the world’s attention has focused on Caracas and the coastal region, some of the greatest needs are found in the rural communities of the Morón–San Felipe corridor in Carabobo and Yaracuy states, where the strongest shaking occurred.

These communities have suffered significant damage to homes, roads, schools, and public infrastructure. Landslides and damaged roadways have made it difficult for emergency assistance to reach many villages, leaving families isolated and vulnerable. Because these communities are remote, they often receive help later than larger population centers.

For the past ten years, Next Step has served communities throughout Venezuela, building trusted relationships and developing practical solutions that restore dignity and create hope. Today, our local team and partners are already on the ground assessing needs, identifying the most vulnerable families, and delivering assistance where it is needed most.

Our emergency response is focused on providing:

  • Nutritious food for families in crisis.
  • Clean drinking water and other basic necessities.
  • Essential household supplies.
  • Materials to help repair and rebuild the homes of our team members, local partners, and the families they serve.

Whenever possible, all donations will be used to purchase food and relief supplies within Venezuela. This allows us to respond quickly while also supporting local businesses and strengthening the communities we serve.

Your generosity will make an immediate difference for families who have lost so much. Together, we can provide practical relief, restore hope, and help communities begin the long journey of recovery.

Please join us by making a tax-deductible donation through Next Step, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
